Guitarist Kyle Dexter was born in Toronto, Ontario, but spent most of his youth in New York City and Boston MA. At the age of 16 Kyle left home to join a touring production of Les Miserables, and eventually landed back in Boston to attend classes at the New England Conservatory of Music. After creative differences with the Conservatory faculty forced him to leave, Kyle toured the east coast with various alternative rock bands, including successful runs with Shoot the Moon, Sam I am, and American Made. These days, when he is not touring with Breaking Point, Kyle lives quietly in Woodstock, Connecticut, but spends the winter months skiing in Bethel, Maine. Kyle also proudly supports the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey club, and manages to make it back to Ontario each year to check up on old friends.
